Students will explore natural dying with plants found on the farm: madder root and black walnut. They will learn the process from gathering to preparing the dye bath. A craft will follow involving their dyed fiber.

Students will gather fall vegetables from the garden and create a fall inspired snack to enjoy together and a visit with the farm animals will round out the day.
